Air Conditioning was invented to dry ink

 Willis Haviland Carrier, an American engineer has become known as the father of air conditioning and is credited with inventing modern air conditioning in 1902. His futuristic innovative system was designed to control temperature and humidity, revolutionizing indoor climate management. and making life more comfortable. Carrier's invention not only improved comfort but also had significant impacts on many industries like textiles, printing, pharmaceuticals and many many more.

Ancient Egyptian air conditioning

 Ancient Egyptians first used a form of air conditioning by hanging wet reeds in window openings, where the evaporating water cooled the passing breezes. 

'Summer blockbuster'

 Movie theaters were among the first public places to adopt and use air conditioning in the 1920s. This new innovation helped boost attendance during the hot summer months making movies alot more comfortable, giving rise to the concept of the "summer blockbuster." 

Thirst for cooling

It is estimated that 10% of all the planets electric produced is used to power air conditioning units to keep us all cool and comfortable. 

Air Conditioning and health

 Air conditioning has a lot of many benefits, including keeping the body cool and helping people recover from illness. It can also drastically reduce pain, help people sleep a lot better, make them feel more comfortable and energetic, maintain a stable temperature and humidity level in the air around us--and even make it easier to test and develop medicines for different illnesses. It has been shown that air conditioning can increase our life span up to an extra 10 years in some situations.
